Courtenay Mize

Courtenay grew up in Colorado, graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans and moved to Park City in 1993 making her an official ‘Park-ite!’ She raised her four children in Park City, where she enjoyed many hours on soccer field side-lines, on the mountain watching mogul or downhill competitions, endless hours at English horse shows, and screaming encouragement for the kids flying by on mountain bike races.  She has a strong background and interest in Wellness, she is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutritionist, and a Medical Aesthetician.  Her experience continued at a prestigious spa at one of Park Cities 5-star hotels, where she started as a wellness trainer, esthetician, and eventually became the Operations Manager.  She is a community activist driven by a spirit of service and volunteering with leadership across various local activities and functions.

Courtenay believes Wellness is the state of being healthy in body and mind.  She knows as the skin is the largest organ of the body, it is also the most noticeable in society, which impacts one’s psychological emotions. The life we live right now is full of stresses and personal issues, which significantly affect skin tone and unwanted aging. Courtenay is passionate about interpreting her patron’s goals and how to achieve them together with personalized treatments.  She founded Apricus Park City to offer unique personalized treatments, providing elegant facials, performing advanced restorative techniques, assisting with body image, and helping with altitude relief. The name Apricus Park City means having lots of sunshine within and to deliberately bring light into people’s lives – Courtenay’s ultimate goal!! We direct you to the extensive menu showing all the ways of how Apricus will bring light and desired youth into your skin while awakening your inner beauty through advanced practices and brilliant products.
